Initially set up the Career Development Group, reviewing national skill pool to identify high potential, developed IDPs and proposed succession plans.

Instrumental in setting up the Training Section, selection of staff, initiated introduction of competency based development system based on the QGPC model. Recruited and supervised 3 professional training specialists who in turn supervised 6 instructional staff and coordinated the development of a competency-based curriculum.

Worked with line supervisors in the compilation of task analysis resulting in the development of IDP’s, conducted associated monitoring and follow-up. Coordinated the needs analysis and development of O&M training materials for the LNG plant and offshore platforms

Facilitated the Qatarization of the Training Coordinator’s position: Developed competency checklist of critical skills and knowledge, provided support and counseling to designate during development stage.
